Cozy hotel, we liked our stay, it had good food and gorgeous location close to the beach. Generally everything was great, however the bathroom was not very clean. The breakfast was included and had plenty of meals.

Views appeared to be bad.

A convenient hotel with helpful staff. The suite was updated, nice bed. The continental breakfast was good hot and savoury.

Staff and location were perfect, but most important - the hotel was clean. The room was non-smoking with very comfy beds. Decent location with freeway near the property.

I appreciated good location and friendly staff. Lots of places to eat close by, including Silk Noodlebar.

It was great for the price, good hot breakfast, clean facility and nice staff.

The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a good free breakfast and free parking.

It is quite a distance from the beach and the city. The staff were not that friendly or helpful. It was quite noisey and it seemed that the pool was constantly being used by locals who were not hotel guests

Recently I flew out to Huntington Beach and stayed a few days for an extended "date" weekend with a beautiful lady I've been having a long-distance relationship with. Since her parents were staying with her, I needed to get a room out of respect and chose Comfort Suites because of the proximity to her house. Considering the location and services/amenities offered, this hotel is a great value, is clean and comfortable. Right off the 405, shopping/food across the street and a few miles to the beach, not much wrong here.

The rooms are a little on the older side, still have tube TVs and could use some updating but that doesn't really detract from the level of comfort.

Shower temperature control was a problem

One employee at the front desk was very condescending and did not deal adequately or responsibly with conversation regarding payment.... when questioned politely about payment and money matters he simply responded "well i've been working here for 8 years..." - making customers feel inadequate and stupid for making a query. All other staff were of a very polite and welcoming nature.

Amazing breakfast with menu changed daily. Staff all very helpful especially those who were in charge of breakfast.

Less furniture in rooms where pull down beds are used.

Location from beach was great. about 5 miles straight down the street. Housekeeping folks were friendly and fantastic. Maybe they should be who guests see first, not the desk folks in suits behind counter at check in. We checked out at 630AM and on our way out the lady running the breakfast area gave my wife 3 muffins to go since she was just sitting up. That was awesome. Its the little things that add up.

Breakfast was ok. I think the eggs were powdered.The bacon slices were see through. We ate one morning on patio and the landscaper on other side of wall blew debris on us and our food. The door seal on room was gone. About 530AM construction was going on at the jack in the box across the parking lot which was about 100 feet from our room. Woke us up with the metal grinding. At check in we got there right at 3PM. The older gentleman checking us in was also catching up on paperwork with the other person working the counter. Pay attention to your guest... First impressions?

Staff was awesome room was great!

Breakfast was a little dissapointing because it wasn't good but it was edible so points for that, also the pool closed at 9???

beds feel like rocks. Front desk staff is horrible, not friendly. rooms have water bottles that are not cold and want to sell them to you for $2. Rooms are very small, carpets are very dirty. they have Signs in rooms for towel count and state will be charged if any go missing. Must ask for pool towels at front desk. We arrived at 12:30 pm on a Sunday and was told that I could not check in until 3. the hotel was empty when we arrived so not a good situation for me and my family. we had to leave and drive around with the kids and later on return. the undercover parking had a bunch of old room furniture, not a good view for those just arriving.

The room was clean and the bed was decent.

After traveling 4 hours to reach the hotel we were greeted with an agent that moved very slowly. He proceeded to tell me that they could not accept the credit card I used because it was not embossed but was chipped. I explained that the room was already paid for and that would be the only card he was getting. The agent then told me that we would have to wait 30 minutes for the Manager. My husband then offered his embossed card. The agent said they could not use that card because it had to be the card I booked with. I then demanded that he contact the Manager on the phone at that moment as my husband and I were attending our daughters graduation and that we had asked for early check-in to make it on time. The agent finally got ahold of the Manager and then made a copy of my card, which is ridiculous since it was a chipped card. Get with the program Comfort Suites. I will not be booking with them in the future. The agent mentioned something about fraud with the type of card I used and I thought yeah there is fraud because you just photo copied my card!!!!

staff were excellent! Went out of their way to find us a steak house for dinner! The room was clean and comfortable. Great looking flat screen TV.

The eggs could have been better. I would have preferred the eggs to be scrambled and the ham to be bacon or sausage.
